"Tatnall stands at the unique intersection of being a small environment with immense resources. This distinct advantage is what enables students like me to be a Varsity Captain, lead the environmental club, participate in Student Government, earn Science Olympiad state-recognition, and take a rigorous course-load. Not only is this type of engagement allowed, it is encouraged by the school to foster the curiosity and experiences students will need in the 21st century."

Upper School Welcome

Welcome to Tatnall's Upper School, where leadership and active learning is embedded in Tatnall's rigorous college preparatory program. Built upon intellectual inquiry, interdisciplinary learning, and collaborative innovation the program provides students the opportunity to challenge themselves through AP and Honors courses while serving as exemplars of scholarship and character to the rest of the school. With a balance of academics, athletics and arts at the heart of all that we do at Tatnall, our graduates are well prepared to take on the world!

Upper School Application Process

The Tatnall School considers applications for admission on a rolling basis. Beginning in December 2022, once a family completes the application process, the Committee will review all materials, including Financial Aid applications (if applicable), and communicate the admission and financial aid decision. The first round of admissions decisions will be issued in January. The decision package will include information regarding the time frame for family response to secure students' enrollment.

In addition, please keep in mind that the majority of admission decisions occur in January and February. It is recommended that all admission application materials and Financial Aid applications for prospective students be completed by February 1, 2023; however, we continue to work on rolling admissions basis after this date.

Please find below the admissions process. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Enrollment at 302-892-4285.
