A Tatnall education balances character development with active exploration to encourage kind, thoughtful, curious individuals. Tatnall's Early Childhood Approach includes;

  • Developmentally appropriate curriculum in language arts, math, science, and global studies
  • Learning balances structured instruction with exploration and discovery
  • Small and whole-group instruction to enrich and support every child
  • Responsive classroom approach at all grade levels
  • Emotional intelligence curriculum and public speaking practice
  • Outdoor learning and play every day

Early Childhood Application Process

The Tatnall School considers applications for admission on a rolling basis. Beginning in November 2019, once a family completes the application process, the Committee will review all materials, including Financial Aid applications, and communicate the admission and financial aid decision. The decision package will include information regarding the time frame for family response to secure students' enrollment.

In addition, please keep in mind that the majority of admission decisions occur in January and February. It is recommended that all admission application materials and Financial Aid applications for prospective students be completed by February 1, 2020; however, we continue to work on rolling admissions basis after this date.
