Please save the date for this year’s Four-School Speaker Series, to be held on the Tatnall campus on Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m. This year, Leonard Sax, M.D., Ph.D., a physician who specializes in child and adolescent development, will discuss his book, “The Collapse of Parenting: How We Hurt Our Kids When We Treat Them Like Grown-Ups.” In his presentation, Dr. Sax will discuss the challenges he faces as a parent and he will answer the questions: What do parents need to know, and do, in order to be effective in the modern world? and What can you do to boost the odds that your child will grow up to be healthy, happy and successful?
The Four-School Speaker series is a collaborative event in which representatives from Tatnall, Tower Hill, Friends and Sanford work together to choose a speaker who will present a topic that raises parents’ awareness. This is a Home & School funded event, and is therefore FREE to attend. A book signing will take place after his talk. If you would like to purchase Dr. Sax’s book, please click here.
