After a two year hiatus due to COVID, Latin Day returned to Tatnall's beautiful campus this year. On Monday, April 11th Tatnall hosted the Latin students from Independence, Sanford, Tower Hill, and Upland. Our 5th-12th grade Latin students competed in mythologically inspired field games and chariot races. The games this year included the Stygian Stomp, Capture the Golden Fleece, the Golden Apple Race, the Graiai Sisters' Water Balloon Toss, and the Herculean Hold-Up. Tatnall students were competitive in all of the events and proved victorious in many of them. The day culminated with grade level chariot races on the infield of the Track. There was a huge turnout of Tatnall faculty and students to support our Latin students as they attempted to outrun their fellow contenders. Tatnall was the only school to win multiple chariot races, with the 6th, 9th, and 10th graders all leaving their competition in the dust!
