COVID-19 Information for the Tatnall Community

The Tatnall School remains vigilant in monitoring the developing situation and protecting the well-being of our students and community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are following the guidelines of the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Delaware Division of Public Health

The Tatnall School campus is closed to promote social distancing and ensure the safety of all students, faculty and staff, and families. Distance Learning is in session and the campus will remain closed through May 15. During this time, faculty and staff will be working remotely and responding to emails and phone calls.

We thank you for your cooperation as we work together to keep the community healthy. We will continue to update this page with information and updates will be sent to parents, faculty, and staff via email.

Protect Yourself & Others

  • Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. 
  • Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or use the inside of your elbow. 
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. 
  • Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms. 
  • If you have a fever, cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early.
  • Stay informed and follow the advice provided by your healthcare provider. 
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks. Most common EPA-registered household disinfectants will work.
