Thank you for your interest in Tatnall's Lower School! We are proud to provide an exceptional educational experience for students in grades 1-5. Tatnall's Lower School is a place of exploration, self-discovery, innovation, and active learning. Students grow in their abilities as independent learners and are supported as they become accomplished readers, writers, scientists, musicians, and mathematicians. With our innovative curriculum, experiential learning opportunities, and character development, our students are well rounded young scholars.

Lower School Application Process

The Tatnall School considers applications for admission on a rolling basis. Beginning in December 2022, once a family completes the application process, the Committee will review all materials, including Financial Aid applications (if applicable), and communicate the admission and financial aid decision. The first round of admissions decisions will be issued in January. The decision package will include information regarding the time frame for family response to secure students' enrollment.

In addition, please keep in mind that the majority of admission decisions occur in January and February. It is recommended that all admission application materials and Financial Aid applications for prospective students be completed by February 1, 2023; however, we continue to work on rolling admissions basis after this date.

Please find below the admissions process. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Enrollment at 302-892-4285.
