HOMECOMING 2010                                                         

Homecoming Weekend is just around the corner and the Hornets’ Nest will be alive and buzzing! Catch up with friends, celebrate a reunion and cheer the Tatnall teams to victory! Whether you are on campus for one day or the entire weekend, check out the following activities and events planned for you during Homecoming Weekend!

Friday, October 15

• Founder’s Day, 10:30 a.m., Beekley Gym -- ceremonies include the presentation of the Alumni Service Award and student performances.
• Special Ladies Luncheon, 12:30 p.m., Sedgely Family Room -- members of the classes of 1931-1960 are invited to a luncheon recognizing the 60th and 50th reunions of the Classes of 1950 and 1960.
• Volleyball, 6:45 p.m., Beekley Gym -- kick off the weekend’s athletic events with a match against Sanford.
• Distinguished Alumni Induction and Reception -- 6-7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Atrium, Laird Performing Arts Center.

Saturday, October 16:
Sign in at the Alumni Tent for information on the day’s activities.

• Tailgate reunions for the Classes of 1931-1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005.
• Back to School!, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Experience Tatnall in the 21st century. See SMART Board demonstrations, compose a song in the music technology lab and learn theater lighting and sound in the Marvin Theater followed by a piano concert featuring our own Wilson Somers.
• Athletic Events: 
  

  Field Hockey, 11 a.m., vs. St. Andrew's
  Soccer, noon, vs. Sanford
  Football, 2 p.m. vx. Delaware Military Academy
  

• Complimentary Barbecue, 12:30-3:30 p.m.-- for all alumni, faculty and staff, and their families. Face painting and moonbounce for the kids!
