The Tatnall School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school located in Greenville, Delaware, near Wilmington. Tatnall is composed of four academic divisions that enroll students from age 3 through 12th grade.

Reflecting the philosophy of school founder Frances D. S. Tatnall (1874-1966), Tatnall recognizes, respects and nurtures the unique qualities of each one of our students within the context of a challenging academic program. In short, Tatnall provides its students with an environment that encourages and provides for the achievement of excellence. We offer a deep and diverse program of academics, arts and athletics guided by a dedicated, award-winning faculty. Often referred to as “The Family School,” close cooperation between home and school is a hallmark at Tatnall, and parent involvement is evident in all areas of school life.
