Sixty-one Tatnall seniors received their diplomas on Saturday, June 2, during the school's 81st Commencement ceremony.
Tatnall's newest alumni and their families were treated to a beautiful Saturday that included the awarding of diplomas in the Beekley Gymnasium followed by a reception at Sedgely.
The Cum Laude Address was given by Adorian Atkins and the guest speaker was Caroline Jones, a former Tatnall parent and Executive Director of Kind to Kids, a child advocacy organization.
The class was joined by Carobelle Hanssmann, a member of the Class of 1932 and Tatnall's first graduate.
The Class of 2012 class gift was the installation of hand-dryers in the bathrooms. Presented by Danica Smith, she said the gift reflected the class's commitment to environmental concerns.
Other highlights included the awarding of the Triangle Pin, the school's highest honor, to Toru Mihama, and the Wooden Spoon awards going to Amanda Patti and Steven Sklodowski.
